About Sunrise
The aim of Sunrise karate club is to teach Karate in a safe and friendly environment with a focus on pupils taking responsibility for their own actions both inside and outside the Dojo.
We teach Wado Ryu, a traditional style of karate, with emphasis on kata (forms), kumite (sparring) and basic techniques. Sunrise karate was established in 1995 and continues to provide a fun, safe and practical way for both adults and children to learn martial arts.
Our licensing body is Shi Kon Budo Kai and our instructors are fully licensed.
Beginners and/or new students are always welcome to drop in on a class (your first class is free) and chat to our instructors.
